Live Wedding Illustration: an exciting and fun addition to your wedding day!
Your guests will love to take home a unique piece of art created right there in front of them on the day. A beautiful illustration that captures the moment of your wedding day, and is a unique wedding favour they can cherish.
How does it work?
✨ I take a quick photo of who would like to be in the portrait
✨ Your guests can carry on enjoying the festivities while I get to work (unless they want to stay and watch, they are more than welcome to of course!)
✨ I draw a unique portrait using the photo as a reference
✨ The guest returns at their leisure to find their portrait amongst the many happy faces I have illustrated!
I complete as many people as I can – doing roughly ‘10 minute’ portraits.
These can be of one, two or three people.
I focus on capturing a likeness in my own unique style. It is always so lovely to see people recognising themselves and other loved ones in the portraits!
The illustrations are on A5 high quality paper, and supplied with a clear film sleeve just for that added bit of protection (late night spills – you never know!) I use a black fine liner for the outline and add colour loosely with artist marker pens.
I will require a table and chair somewhere in the venue, and preferably some lighting- but I have a trusty lamp as I know this is not always possible. As I complete the illustrations I will lay them out, and your guests can come back any time throughout the day to find their portrait.
I have been an illustrator for decades, and I love nothing more than illustrating people at a joyous event, like your wedding! I will endeavour to draw as many people as I can in the time allocated.
